Starting on the main river it soon became clear that the amount of weed had put paid to my planned approach. A move to the Top Stream to try for perch didn't work out either, my offering of worms being completely ignored. Learning that there wasn't anybody on the Mill Stream I went over there as a last resort but conditions there weren't very favourable either. Another challenging day on the rivers!
