This isn't just a street performance on E 6th St in the heart of Austin and SXSW 2013 just for the heck of it. Nope... The band (which is comprised of 18 of Austin's finest musicians) had just performed a sold out show at Esther's Follies and got a standing ovation. The audience was asking for an encore but the lights came on and the venue was shutting down. So instead the band too everyone outside and in under 5 minutes launched into this great new anthem "Dirty Summer." This was one of my favorite moments at SXSW...seeing Mother Falcon perform "Dirty Summer" Live at SXSW 2013 right in the middle of the street.
