One week RVing in Glacier National Park was NOT what we expected...

In RV Vlog 22, we spent one week RVing in Glacier National Park to see if it is worth the hype. While the weather didn’t exactly cooperate, this park still completely blew us away! Rain slowed us down for much of the week, but between the storms we were able to explore Glacier from the West Side to the East Side, drive the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, tackle some incredible hikes, and see why this is one of the most beautiful national parks in the country. After setting up our RV and unhitching, we drove the full Going-to-the-Sun Road through the heart of Glacier National Park, stopping at scenic overlooks and exploring both sides of the park. We also hiked several trails, including the incredible Grinnell Glacier Trail and Hidden Lake Trail, two of the highlights of our entire week. We even crossed into Canada for a day trip to Waterton Lakes National Park, Glacier’s Canadian neighbor! But the adventure took an unexpected turn when the border crossing we planned to use closed before we made it back, forcing us to take the LONG way around to return to our RV. Even with plenty of rain, detours, and changing plans, Glacier National Park absolutely exceeded our expectations. The mountains, turquoise lakes, wildlife, waterfalls, and dramatic scenery made this one of our favorite stops, and it’s a park we would recommend to just about anyone!
