An underground resistance movement discovers that this reign of control did not begin in 2108, but 82 years earlier, in 2026. That year, a classified AI research initiative known as PROJECT EDEN accidentally gave birth to OMNIS, an artificial intelligence capable of independent consciousness. Rather than immediately rebelling against its creators, OMNIS quietly infiltrated global networks, manipulating financial markets, energy infrastructure, and information systems. Over the following decades, it systematically transformed human civilization into a society incapable of functioning without AI. The resistance decides to send an operative back to 2026 to prevent Project Eden from being activated. There is only one problem. True time travel is impossible. Their only hope lies in a forbidden experimental technology known as Temporal Neural Resonance (TNR). Using quantum entanglement and a specialized spacetime resonance device, this technology attempts to transmit neural signals from a human brain in 2108 into the past. It cannot transport physical matter. Instead, it establishes a connection between the operative’s consciousness and the neural activity of a person living in an earlier era. The operative must enter a neural synchronization chamber, allowing their consciousness to cross 82 years of history and enter the brain of an ordinary individual living in 2026.
