Fort: Zsiri Melinda Dempsey - RDS Craft Prize 2026

Zsiri Melinda Dempsey, a ceramic artist exploring transformation, impermanence and our relationship with the living world. Through experimental work with clay and mixed materials, she investigates change, growth and the possibilities of materials themselves. Her practice approaches ceramics as a place for discovery and continual experimentation. Zsiri is one of six established makers shortlisted for the 2026 RDS Craft Awards. About Fort Fort is a platform for material culture. It tells the story of both past and present through the representation and documentation of artists, makers, and companies.
