On November 24, 1971, the passenger of Flight 305 handed a flight attendant a note about a bomb, collected $200,000 and four parachutes — and that night stepped out of the rear stairs of a Boeing 727 into the rain over the forests of Washington. More than 50 years have passed: the FBI ran an active investigation for 45 years, the case is formally still open — and nobody has ever learned who he was. Even the name "D.B. Cooper" is a mistake. An investigation built on open archives: the FBI case file (FBI Vault) — interviews with the flight attendants, teletypes and the 1971 crew log, the money found at Tena Bar in 1980, evidence under the electron microscope and the four main suspects. We separate the document from the myth. Chapters 0:00 Intro: the note "Miss, I have a bomb" 1:40 Part 1. Passenger 18E 5:40 Part 2. Seattle 9:57 Part 3. Twenty Minutes of Darkness 13:45 Part 4.
