I'm Cycling Around The World On a TALLBIKE // Tall Bike Tour [Ep.1]

On the 21st of January 2022, I left my home in England to cycle around the world... on a Tallbike. Little did I know I'd still be cycling more than a year and a half later - and even adopt a stray puppy along the way... but that's for later. This first video (albeit more than a year late) is about the beginning of the trip, and how the idea of this journey came about. It explores life on a tallbike since I was 15 years old in 2018, including the whole process of preparing and leaving to begin this journey. In this series there will be 10 episodes documenting the first 70 days on the tallbike until Bulgaria, with more videos to come once I have the time to edit them. As I am writing this, I am in Armenia and crossing into Iran tomorrow, so rest assured there will be much more to watch over the coming year & beyond. So without further ado, please enjoy the much-belated first episode of the 'Tall Bike Tour' series. And if you enjoy this video, please consider liking & subscribing - this will support us and allow us to continue our journey around the world. ______________________________________________ CHAPTERS: 00:00 Intro 00:30 Background & History 01:50 The Plan 02:19 Leaving Home 03:20 Boarding The Ferry 04:19 Entering The Netherlands 04:54 Amsterdam 05:33 Workaway 06:34 Beginning The Tour 07:41 Meeting Freakbikers 08:11 Utrecht 09:23 Day 3 10:29 Into Germany 10:48 Hosted in Germany 11:06 Trying The Tallbike 13:11 Day 4 13:26 Stopped By Police 13:36 Next Time ______________________________________________ ✍🏼SUBSCRIBE:    / @tallbiketour   ✔ SUPPORT US: Paypal - (Make a one-off Donation): https://paypal.me/tallbiketour Ko-Fi - (Buy us a Coffee or become a supporter): https://ko-fi.com/tallbiketour Monthly Supporters will get: Early access to all future videos Access to all 10 episodes of the series (NOW) On-screen mentions in videos Custom Postcards sent to them from each country we pass through ✈ FOLLOW US: Instagram (The Tour):   / tallbiketour   Instagram (Nova):   / novabybike   Facebook:   / tallbiketour   💌 Get a CUSTOM POSTCARD from us: https://ko-fi.com/s/3fdd79f38a ______________________________________________ 🎥 All shots are my own, there is no stock footage.
