Version 3.8 is looking pretty interesting already! with new Domain and character optimizations, and plenty of other changes. So, today, we're going to break down everything coming in Version 3.8, including all the new content and quality-of-life improvements. so let's not waste any time and get straight into it! First things first, the Version 3.8 Special Broadcast livestream is officially scheduled for November 6, 2026, at UTC+8. I've displayed the timings for different time zones on screen, so make sure to check yours and mark your calendars. And don't worry about missing the livestream redemption codes. I'll be posting all the codes on my community tab, so make sure to keep an eye out for those. As for the actual Version 3.8 release, it's currently expected to arrive on November 12. Now, moving on to what everyone's probably waiting for the most — the banners! For Phase 1, we're getting Lily banner, alongside expected reruns for Sigrika and Qiuyuan. And the featured four-star characters are expected to be Youhu, Aalto, and Yangyang. Moving on to Phase 2, we're expecting Xuanling alongside a Hiyuki rerun, with Danjin, Baizhi, and Yuanwu as the featured four-stars. Now, I'm genuinely curious about your pulling plans. Are you saving everything for Lily, waiting for Hiyuki, or planning to pick up one of the rerun characters? Let me know in the comments. And remember, your Astrites aren't going to save themselves! Anyway, moving forward, Version 3.8 is also expected to bring a new Story Quest. However, when it comes to a new explorable map, I'm not entirely sure yet, so we'll have to wait for more information on that. Now, here's something that should make Hiyuki mains very happy. Hiyuki is getting a brand-new skin in Version 3.8! So, congratulations to all the Hiyuki havers. There's also a pretty useful addition coming to the Story Recap feature. From Version 2.0 to 2.2, new stories will be added to Recap in Version 3.8. This should make it easier for players to revisit previous story content without having to go through everything again. So, we're also expecting Woo-hoo Project: New Journey and Lahairoi Cubes event. Now, moving on, we also have the Solar School event, and this one is particularly interesting because it could give us a closer look at several familiar characters. We're expecting to get more information about some old and returning characters, including Buling, Changli, Phoebe, Galbrena, Chisa, Roccia, Shorekeeper, Verina, Ciaccona, XLY, and Cartethyia. And among all these characters, Changli, Shorekeeper, and Cartethyia are most likely to be the main heroines of the event. But now, let's get to something I personally find quite interesting — the quality-of-life improvements! And honestly, this is a pretty welcome change, especially for players who regularly switch between different builds. Not having to constantly rearrange your Echoes should make things much more convenient. There's also another small but useful improvement. Newly obtained Resonators, along with characters marked in the Training Plan system, will now appear at the top of the list on the right side of the character screen. On top of that, a teammate recommendation module is being added to the Resonator Training Plan. So, hopefully, figuring out which characters work well together will become a little easier. Moving on to Domain optimizations, Endstate Matrix, Tower of Adversity, and Whimpering Wastes will now allow you to switch characters before starting a challenge. And there's one particular detail I want to mention here. Characters like Hiyuki will now be able to maintain their second phase throughout continuous challenges. And honestly, this might sound like a relatively small change, but for players who repeatedly farm or challenge these Domains, it's going to save quite a bit of time. And finally, we're also seeing some reported changes to the user interface. The Rover Resonance Sequence Conversion screen is getting an updated layout, which should make the overall interface look more streamlined.
