Today on Planet Coaster 2, we are back inside Element Dance, and this time it is all about making the ride actually work. (Section post intermission is missing voiceover. Fast story catch up once I unmuted! Will work on that. Thanks for understanding) A lot has happened since the last stream. The three other elemental sections are now in place, the architecture is really starting to come together, and Element Dance is finally looking like the attraction I had in my head when this whole thing started. Now comes the fun part. Today we are diving deep into the ride itself. We will be working on the fire element, building out the transitions between each section, and doing a whole lot of programming to bring the experience together. Timing, movement, effects, lighting, sequences, and all the little details that have to be coordinated to make the ride feel like one continuous experience. The goal is still to keep it simple. Let the elements do the work. Fire, water, light, movement, and transitions all have to work together without unnecessary theming getting in the way. The other three elements are looking great, and now it is time to bring everything together. There is still plenty of programming to do, but Element Dance is getting there.
