Farr is a friend & protege of Jimmy Duck Holmes, one of the original Bentonia bluesmen who learned directly from Henry Stuckey (who also taught Skip James). His 2019 “Dirty South Blues” & was released to immediate critical acclaim. Greg Vandy at KEXP named it as one of their top albums of the year & earned Farr nominations for both Songwriter of the Year & New Artist of the Year by Canada’s prestigious Maple Blues Awards.
