『Furusato』　Yoko Yagi

Music : Teiichi Okano Words : Tatsuyuki Takano Arrangement & Recording: Shu Ishiguro ( SHU-NET.COM/Studio SYMPHONIA ) https://believersjapan.com/ I sang “Furusato” 🎵 As I sang, for some reason, I found myself remembering a place where I lived for just a short time when I was little. There was a river flowing behind our house, and I used to go there with my older brother to catch crayfish. Those little memories suddenly came flooding back. Perhaps the scenery and memories that linger in our hearts can also be called “Furusato.” I’d be happy if you could listen to this song while picturing the “hometown” in your own heart. And while doing so, let your thoughts also wander to the heavenly “hometown” we’ll all reach one day… 『Furusato』 Yoko Yagi That mountain where I used to chase rabbits, That river where I used to fish for small carp, My dreams still circle back to That unforgettable hometown. How are my parents doing? Are my friends well? Even in rain and wind, I think of my hometown. Once I’ve fulfilled my aspirations, Someday I shall return. My hometown, where the mountains are blue, My hometown, where the waters are clear, My unforgettable hometown. There is another homeland to which we must return. “But they were looking for a better homeland— that is, a heavenly one.” Hebrews 11:16 Translated with DeepL.com (free version) #Hebrews11:16 #Furusato #HomeTown #christianbiblesinger #yokoyagi
