Nazriya Nazim Dubai Off-Shoulder Dress Controversy Peaks | Muhammed Niyas Jouhari Criticises Actress Then Faces Major Legal Arrest | Full Viral Update from Kerala Social Media & News Actress Nazriya Nazim found herself at the centre of intense online scrutiny after attending a promotional event for her upcoming Tamil film Scene (co-starring Suriya and Naslen, directed by Jithu Madhavan) in Dubai. She wore a stylish olive-green/yellow off-shoulder gown that quickly went viral across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X, with a section of netizens questioning the choice and engaging in dress-code policing and body-shaming remarks. Some recalled the 2013 Naiyaandi episode involving an unauthorised body double for a navel-exposure scene to accuse her of inconsistency. Nazriya responded firmly by sharing multiple photographs of herself in the exact same outfit, simply captioned “Scene,” which drew strong support from fans, co-stars Naslen and Jithu Madhavan, and other industry voices. She also posted a playful Instagram story reading “May your delulu become trululu and your problems go byelulu, so you can finally chillulu,” widely interpreted as a light-hearted pushback. Coverage from Manorama, Asianet, Mathrubhumi, Reporter TV, 24 News, and gossip pages amplified the debate on personal choice versus public expectations in Malayalam entertainment circles. The controversy gained a sharp new dimension when a video by religious preacher and vlogger Muhammed Niyas Jouhari (associated with Habibiyya Islamic Academy in Ochira, Kollam area, and active on YouTube with a large following) resurfaced after his recent arrest in connection with serious allegations involving a minor. In the clip he criticised Nazriya’s attire as inappropriate for a Muslim-named actress, questioned her connection to Islamic values given her film-family background (husband Fahadh Faasil), and used analogies that many found dismissive. Platforms including Marunadan Malayali, Neelakkuyil Entertainments-style reaction channels, Manorama News, Facebook groups, Instagram, Reddit threads, and X saw the video shared widely alongside reports of his arrest by Karunagappally/Ochira police and ongoing investigation into possible further cases and related financial matters. Social media users highlighted the contrast between his public commentary on others’ clothing and the legal case against him, driving fresh discussions across Malayalam news portals and YouTube channels focused on Kerala celebrity and social controversies. The episode has remained a major talking point for algorithm-driven search around Nazriya, Scene promotions, and related Kerala viral stories.
