AEW WrestleDream 2026 Review: Clockwork Carnage Delivers & Dragunov Debuts!

AEW WrestleDream 2026 Review! Did Clockwork Carnage deliver? Is Adam Copeland turning heel? And what does Ilja Dragunov's AEW debut mean for the roster? Tim and Dug give WrestleDream an A grade, but the biggest questions might be about what happens NEXT. Will Ospreay retains the AEW World Championship in the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match, a concept that surprised both of us with how much we enjoyed it. We break down the match, the fantastic commentary, and two simple changes that could make it even better. We also discuss Adam Copeland's post-match confrontation with Ospreay. Is a heel turn coming, and would AEW be rushing a potential championship feud between them? Elsewhere, the Young Bucks and ProtoJet deliver Tim's Match of the Night, while Dug chooses the brutal, emotional Jon Moxley vs. Mark Davis match. Also on this episode: Ilja Dragunov's AEW debut, Tommaso Ciampa's future, Andrade's pants, the shocking Trios Championship change, Mercedes Moné vs. Thekla, Persephone's TBS Championship defense, Motor City Machine Guns vs. FTR, and Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne. Plus, a sleepy host, a much-needed cup of coffee, and a dog who has decided she's part of the show.
