Nineteen tracks of glitterball funk, soulful vocals, chunky basslines, disco strings, piano stabs and ridiculously good grooves, all mixed together by Bassline DJs. We’re digging straight into that sweet spot where classic Disco, Funk, Soul and modern House collide. There are huge reworks of Donna Summer, Earth Wind & Fire, Robin S, Gladys Knight, Black Box, Spiller, Indeep and more, alongside modern dancefloor monsters from Purple Disco Machine, Kungs, Crazibiza, Nari, Disko Junkie and company. This isn’t background music. This is the sort of mix that starts with you casually tapping your foot and ends forty minutes later with you dancing around the kitchen holding a wooden spoon like you’ve somehow become the headline act at Studio 54. There’s proper Disco DNA running throughout this one. Funky guitars, brass, strings, big soulful vocals and basslines that have absolutely no intention of behaving themselves. The mix builds from feel-good Funky House into bigger Disco House territory, weaving old-school classics into new-school productions without turning into a predictable greatest hits compilation. And yes, September is in there. It would frankly be misconduct to make a Disco mix without it.
