Stopped to get the American Canyon Job originally at the Biagi Bros private xing but seen the train actually turn down the CFNR Napa Sub where I was like dang I wish I knew they were going that way so I could of gotten this crossing on the heading trip but anyways, knew they had went to the other Biagi Bros location on that line so I went to setup here for the return trip getting this crossing actuve still anyways even though I missed when they had came through about 50 minutes earlier. Also, I have gotten the Biago Bros private xing on the other line several months later fortunately after this day. I also got clips of them working the Biagi Brothers on this line and a clip of them coming down the Napa Sub before the crossing activation. I was glad to finally get a train at this crossing and if you remember, I filmed an activation and time out of this crossing several months before this which was the first time I filmed this crossing. This was the first time I filmed a train at this crossing. I have now filmed a train at both Green Island Rd crossings here.
This was my first main catch video filmed by my Sony A6700 I temporarily had as my new camera. I returned it because the A6000 series cameras overheat using as filming as it doesn't have a built in fan so I returned it a week later for an Sony FX30 which does which basically has the same video quality but at a sacrafice picture quality as a A6000 series are made for photo taking and had good quality and the FX30 is a videography camera so taking pictures with it isn't perfect right out the box, you have to change its settings but anyways, I use my Cybershot RX10 IV for photos anyway. The A6700 and FX30 video quality is the same. This video indirectingly was filmed mostly with ny Cybershot for the switching and approaching videos. Crossing was filmed with the A6700.

California Northern Railroad shortline American Canyon/Napa Job local freight train works Biagi Brothers 2nd building and then approaches and passes through the Green Island Road railroad crossing on the CFNR Napa Sub in American Canyon, California. If you are wondering, this line is the exact line that the NVRR wien train uses and jurisdiction is theirs north of Napa, CA where as South of Napa, CA is CFNR's. Also, this crossing is still mid construction that was paused for many years as the gateless signal is for a pedestrian and bicycle trail and roadway was supposed to be Rebuilt and repaved.
