Hiking Little Qualicum Falls Loop on Vancouver Island | Hiking Trip Vlog 2022 We're a brand new channel and this is our 2nd video! Watch our first ever video where we got VERY WET hiking in the clouds at the Wesley Ridge Summit:    • VERY WET Wesley Ridge - Hiking with our Do...   STORY TIME: We went for a quick day hike at Qualicum Falls Provincial Park and explored the Lower Falls section. Although, we don't usually take short day hikes, this one was incredible because it featured waterfalls! Little Qualicum Falls is stunning. Little Qualicum Falls is a gorgeous waterfall located on central Vancouver Island. The falls sit within Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park, which was established in 1940 to protect the old growth forest. There are actually several falls that cascade down the Qualicum River which carves its way through an impressive rocky canyon. There’s more to Little Qualicum Falls Park beside waterfalls. There is swimming and fishing available within Cameron Lake, picnic facilities, and a great campsite. The park is located near Parksville and Qualicum Beach. It’s a great place to stop and stretch your legs during a drive to Coombs, Cathedral Grove, Port Alberni, or Tofino. There are plenty of benches // seating areas to take in the scenery, but it was quite busy with tourists. There wasn't much "rugged" terrain to explore, but we still had a fun adventure with a short walk through the forest and we found a new place to bring Teddy for walks.
