WATCH: The Duchess of Gloucester On Behalf Of The Queen | The Field of Remembrance

The Duchess of Gloucester attends the 98th Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on behalf of the Queen, who departed Antigua and Barbuda yesterday. After the prayers, the Duchess will plant a cross to commemorate the fallen and meet with veterans and their families at the service. The Field of Remembrance has been held in the grounds of Westminster Abbey since November 1928, to commemorate those who have lost their lives serving in the Armed Forces. Anyone can plant a cross or symbol of personal memory at the plot to honour those who lost their lives. This year there are 234 plots including new plots to represent the Lisbon Maru Memorial Association, Association of Royal Navy Officers, Maritime Reserves, General Service Corps Association and Royal Army Medical Services. ♛ Subscribe to our YouTube channel (tap the bell icon and stay up to date with all the latest Royal videos!) - https://bit.ly/3jNBYZ7 ♛ Find us on TikTok   / royalfamilychannel   ♛ Follow us on Facebook -   / royalfamilychannel   ♛ Tweet with us! -   / royalfamilyitnp
