What a way to end off 2025 for me in this game. Over the last few weeks of the summer, I started out on a journey that I called the Low Grav Gauntlet. That gauntlet involved clearing all of the hard low grav Team Precision levels that interested me, in ascending order of difficulty. There were a lot of really tough levels on that list that pushed my skill in this style, and got me prepared.
Now, there was always an end goal to this gauntlet, and one of the reasons I wanted to go ahead and do it in the first place. That end goal was this level. I had always thought it looked like one of the coolest top precision levels that I could see myself going for if I ever got good enough, and it's also such a well-liked level by those who've cleared it.
Now, about the level itself: there's a reason it's so well-liked. Adventure's End is easily one of the most fun and satisfying levels I've played in this game. For being as hard as it is, it's genuinely pretty balanced, and every session felt like I was improving at the level and getting my consistency up and up to a point where I was confident I would beat it soon. And not only does it feel fair, it's also just really fun to play. The last room especially feels so great to do. At times when I was learning the first room, some of the jumps felt especially frustrating, but I just needed to give it some time and get good. Once everything started to click, I was getting through that first room really often, and that felt so good when I knew how much I struggled at some of the jumps for a while.
The level also just feels like such a fitting finale for ShyMeow's Golden Ascent level series, and a wonderful level to go for as a new hardest. I love that break section with the "FINALE" text as the music goes silent and it climbs up to the final section. The face part is really cool. The whole level feels like it has this cinematic and menacing vibe to it that hypes you up for that last room. And because the level is decently long and feels fair without any particularly insane choke points, I think it's a great level to go for as a new hardest. This will push someone's skill without asking them to do any individual trick that feels unreasonable.
Overall I think I got pretty average luck in this. I did nai once, and I felt like I was hitting the nai more than half the time in my runs, so that was unfortunate. I did die more times to the thwomp part and the bit before the nai more than I would have liked. I think that amount of late deaths is expected given that I do get pretty nervous in levels and I don't always play well under pressure. It could have been much worse, if I had started spiraling and dying many times to the nai and getting mind-blocked on jumps. So honestly, I'll take the experience I got. Though with how consistent the level was getting for me, I don't know if I would have been on the level for that much longer even if I had more nais. My final stream with this level lasted under an hour, and I had 10 attempts to the last room, including the 1 nai I had. Maybe that was an insane anomaly of a session, but every time I played this level I was getting better and better at it, and that's such a satisfying feeling to have on a hard level.
I wasn't keeping close track of time with this, but I think this took me in the 22-25 hour range. I don't think this is a new hardest for me, as I'm pretty confident that Stasis is more difficult. That level took me 41 hours and overall just felt a bit harder. But I know I have gotten better at the game since I beat Stasis, including clearing a whole bunch of hard low grav levels to prepare for this, so maybe they could be more similar in difficulty than I might think.
I do want to play Kitty Manya next, which is a TP 14 and the hardest precision level that I'm interested in going for. I expect Kitty Manya to be my new hardest because that level just looks impossible, but I'll have to wait and see.
A few special thanks for this level:
ShyMeow64, for creating such a wonderful hard level to work my way up to and eventually clear. You made one of the best top precision levels and I hope you're proud of this.
RancidFlounder, for grinding my level Nova alongside me as I tried to beat this. He managed to clear that level, a TP 8, as one of his very first TP levels, after 32 hours. Incredible stuff and it was great to be in voice chat with you on one of my streams.
CheckPointOne, for giving me some really helpful advice for strategies. You always are a lifesaver with these levels and GGs to you for all of your amazing achievements this year.
And finally, a thank you to everyone who kept me company in streams for the grind, who wished me good luck on this when I shared progress, and to everyone I've met in this wonderful community over the past two years. I wouldn't be where I am without you all.
Here's to a great 2026, and thanks so much for watching!
