What is this? reading group Q+A session with authors Martine and Stephen Batchelor

In spring 2026, a Tuwhiri-hosted reading group met via Zoom to explore the book What is this? Ancient questions for modern minds by Martine and Stephen Batchelor. This sixteen-week reading group culminated on 26 July 2026 when Stephen and Martine joined the group for a one-hour question and answer session. Throughout the sixteen weeks, the group had compiled and refined ten questions, and these had been presented to the Batchelors in advance of this Q+A session. In this video, Stephen and Martine work their way through these questions, some of which are directly related to What is this?
