[106th/The Final R151 in service!] SMRT TRAINS Ride From Kembangan to Pasir Ris – R151 165/166

Filmed on 2 October 2026 This train debuted on 30 September, but it detrained at Tuas Crescent on its first trip as T350. The final R151 has finally entered revenue service. All 106 R151 trains are now running on our rails on the NSEWL. How time flies from when 825/826 debuted as the 1st R151, to 165/166 as the 106th. The new era of NSEWL has truly began. This R151 project lasted from 4 June 2023 to 30 September 2026, just over 3 years. Kudos to SMRT and LTA for their hard work rolling out these trains to replace our older legacy trains from 2023. Overall it was a great ride, though the aircon could be better. Other than that, we came a long way from the R151 debut. This train was running on T323, running 1 full loop during the AM Peak Hours.
