Sunday Service October 25th, 2026 TEXT: Luke 4:18; Psalm 23:5; 1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Samuel 2:4; 2 Samuel 5:3; Philippians 4:13; 2 Corinthians 1:21; Hebrews 11:1, 6; Exodus 23:25; Romans 8:14; Judges 16:20 POINTS: The anointing is God's divine empowerment and enablement upon a person, granting capacity to accomplish assignments far beyond natural human ability. Operating in the supernatural requires being established in spiritual consecration, where divine grace breaks limitations, destroys yokes, and positions believers to fulfill their destiny with boldness and victory. 1. THE ANOINTING IS FOR SERVICE (Luke 4:18) God does not release His anointing for idle living or personal pride, but for purposeful service in His kingdom. When you position yourself faithfully in divine service, the Holy Spirit empowers you with supernatural capacity to carry out assignments that natural effort cannot achieve. 2. THE ANOINTING GROWS IN LEVELS AND PHASES (1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Samuel 5:3) Just as David received distinct anointings—from the midst of his brothers, over the house of Judah, and ultimately over all Israel—God releases fresh dimensions of anointing as you transition into new seasons, responsibilities, and spiritual maturity. 3. ESTABLISHMENT PRECEDES EMPOWERMENT (2 Corinthians 1:21) God establishes character, faithfulness, and integrity before releasing greater spiritual authority. Spiritual stability and steadfastness in Christ ensure that the anointing resting upon you brings lasting fruit and honor to God rather than premature collapse. 4. THE ANOINTING GRANTS UNUSUAL STRENGTH IN BATTLE (Judges 15:14-15) Natural battles, setbacks, and spiritual opposition are not won by human wisdom or physical might, but by the Spirit of the Lord. When the anointing comes upon you, what once seemed impossible becomes conquered ground, turning weak seasons into triumph. 5. PRESERVE THE ANOINTING THROUGH CONSECRATION (Judges 16:20) Grace is never an excuse for carelessness or compromise. Walking closely with God requires honoring covenant boundaries, guarding your spiritual walk, and fleeing compromise so that divine power remains unbroken and active in your life. 6. THE ANOINTING UNLOCKS JOYFUL WORSHIP AND CONTINUOUS ADVANCEMENT (Psalm 23:5) When God anoints your head with fresh oil, your cup overflows with joy, divine favor, and renewed confidence. Even in the presence of life's adversaries, God's empowerment prepares a table of victory and guarantees that every step you take advances you into your divine purpose.
