Vizsla, 6 Months, Tilly | Best Vizsla Training | Offleashk9

Tilly is a six month old Vizsla here for our Best Vizsla training program and is joining us for a two week board and train. She came in needing better leash skills and a more reliable recall. While Tilly already had a nice foundation with some basic commands, her owner's biggest concern was getting her to come when called consistently, especially when distractions were present. Walks were also challenging due to her leash manners, making those two areas the primary focus of her training. During her program, we’re building on the foundation she already has by improving her engagement, strengthening her recall, and teaching her how to walk politely on leash. With consistency and structure, Tilly will learn to stay focused on her handler and respond reliably no matter what is happening around her. Vizslas are intelligent, athletic dogs known for their energy and strong desire to explore. Because they are naturally active and curious, developing dependable recall and leash manners early is essential.
