Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” When I first listened to this song, I was reminded of one of my favourite English worship songs that I learned during my school days — “Thy Word” by Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. Long story short, I started wondering why there aren’t more worship songs like this. As I listened more closely to the verses and lyrics, I completely fell in love with this song. A beautiful tune with powerful lyrics that speak about the unfailing Word of God — bringing light, breaking strongholds, reviving broken hearts, and fulfilling God’s promises when we believe and pray.
