9.4.26 - Matthew 8 (LSV)

Matthew 8 reveals the authority of Jesus through a series of powerful encounters. He cleanses a leper, heals the centurion’s servant from a distance, restores Peter’s mother-in-law, and delivers many who are sick and demon-possessed. Jesus also teaches about the cost of truly following Him before calming a violent storm with only His words. The chapter closes with Jesus casting demons out of two men, demonstrating His authority over disease, nature, and the spiritual realm—and showing that even the demons recognize who He is.
