Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection Just Got A GREAT News Update!

This all comes on the heels of EA cancelling Respawn's upcoming Star Wars FPS Bounty Hunter game. Last video we broke down new gameplay features which sees Hero Assault come to all 22 ground maps in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (originally this game mode was only available on Tatooine). Recently, we discussed the apparent lack of cross play for Star Wars Battlefront and what it might mean for the longevity of the game. earlier this week we got a surprise announcement of the new Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, which features both Battlefront 2004 and the original Battlefront 2. Recently, we discussed all of the confirmed gameplay features such as online multiplayer, bonus maps, new heroes, new game modes, and the return of classic Battlefront game modes such as Galactic Conquest, Conquest, Assault, Hero Assault, Capture the Flag, and Space Assault. Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is incredibly important for the future of Star Wars games. One of the most requested games is Star Wars Battlefront 3 and if this new Battlefront game performs well it could end up being one of the catalysts for Lucasfilm Games to make a Battlefront 3 or at least some sort of new Star Wars Battlefront game. This Star Wars Battlefront release will also be one of the few Star Wars multiplayer game options available in the current generation as the recent LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Star Wars Jedi Survivor (as well as the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws) are all single player experiences and do not feature online multiplayer.
