Claude VonStroke - Two Line Groove

My son Jasper is a singer. He came in and listened to the entire album, then started riffing vocal ideas on every track. I ended up using a ton of them. On one track, he came up with an old-school scat idea that was really cool, but it needed something more. So I brought in his sister Ella, who is an incredible songwriter, and had her riff a B section against his idea. It turned into a big mess of multiple riffs from both of them. I spent about a week chopping and moving the vocals around, using old ideas of music “in the round” that I learned from playing cello and listening to classical music as a kid. The result is “Two Line Groove,” two singers grooving over this dusty house beat. LISTEN / STREAM Spotify → https://open.spotify.com/album/2Y5oB0...
