Halo is reportedly entering a new era under Activision — but a reboot alone won’t save the franchise. In this video, I break down how Halo could evolve for a modern audience without losing the core identity that made it iconic. That means preserving the classic guns, grenades and melee formula, while pushing Halo forward with destructible environments, smarter enemy AI, more dynamic combat, deeper vehicle systems and a cleaner story reset for new players. I also pitch a new “Golden Square” for Halo’s gameplay, inspired by ideas from Battlefield, The Finals and ARC Raiders, while keeping Master Chief, the sandbox and the feel of Halo at the centre of everything.
