From Teacher to survivor , the attack that changed everything

YouTube Description In this video, I share a deeply personal experience from my years as a teacher in Jamaica — the day a student attacked me inside my classroom. What happened that day affected me far beyond the classroom. I’ll talk about the incident, what followed, how it changed the way I viewed my safety, and why this experience ultimately contributed to my decision to leave Jamaica. This is not an easy story to tell, but I believe it is important to share the reality that teachers can sometimes face and the lasting impact such experiences can have on a person’s life. If you are a teacher, educator, student, or someone who has experienced a difficult or traumatic situation, I hope my story reminds you that your safety and well-being matter. Thank you for watching, and please share your thoughts respectfully in the comments.
