It's Marble Day in Pebble Town! 🔵 Snatch always grabs the bigger box of marbles, so the crew has to work out which number is bigger before he does. Look at the tens first, then the ones, and learn which way the greater-than sign points, Pebble Pal! 🟣
In this episode, kids learn:
✨ Comparing two-digit numbers: look at the tens first
✨ 32 is greater than 23, because 3 tens is more than 2 tens
✨ 41 is greater than 14
✨ When the tens are the same, compare the ones: 58 is greater than 53
✨ The greater-than and less-than signs open toward the bigger number
Watch for the "Pause and think!" countdowns. Shout out your answer before it's revealed, and pause the video if you need more time!

👨👩👧 For grown-ups: comparing numbers is all about place value: tens first, then ones. Write two numbers on cards (like 23 and 32) and ask which is bigger and how they know. A fun way to remember the sign: it's a hungry mouth that always opens toward the bigger number.
