💛 Calendula is one of the gentlest herbs for the skin, making this balm safe for the whole family.
Recipe:
2 cups of infused calendula oil (infuse your oil with the flowers for at least 30 days)
2 ounces beeswax
-Melt these 2 together in double boiler. Once the beeswax is completely melted, remove it from the heat, then add:
2 ounces organic shea butter
20 drops of rose essential or wild orange essential oil (optional)
Melt together and pour into jars of choice. Let set for 1-2 hours. Cover with a lid and store in a cool, dark place. If the salve is exposed to direct sun or to temperatures above 75 degrees F., it will liquify
