Covering 10 acres, this project by the Karakulam Service Cooperative Bank features colourful sunflowers, chrysanthemums, and water lilies on one side, and fresh vegetables, fish in six ponds, and banana plants on the other. It’s the first green tourism village initiative realised in Kerala, in collaboration with the tourism department and the cooperative sector. What sets it apart is that tourists can stay on-site, choose their preferred food items, and enjoy them freshly prepared.
