Pruning the Overgrowth: Reclaiming the Divine Feminine and Nervous System Balance with Coach TJ

How do you know when an aspect of your life—a commitment, role, or old pattern—has outgrown its cozy container and needs to be pruned? In this episode, host Michelle Aalbers welcomes Coach TJ, founder of Feminine Free and Fit, for an expansive deep-dive into deconstructing toxic masculinity, shadow work, and reclaiming the divine feminine. TJ shares his personal journey from inner-city youth ministry and sports coaching to becoming a janitor and instructor at a yoga studio, unpacking how surrendering egotistical alpha drives allowed him to cultivate genuine self-nurture, emotional regulation, and balance. He reflects on setting intentional boundaries, honoring the matriarchal presence in family dynamics, and finding the freedom to live beyond societal boxes.
