Why Are You Waiting in Line for $6 Coffee?

How much profit does a coffee shop really make on a $6.20 latte? This film breaks down cafe economics in America, where 67% of adults drank coffee yesterday but shops keep about 10 cents on the dollar. From beans, milk and cups to rent, labor, Square and DoorDash fees, and Starbucks' $36.2B year, it tracks where every dollar goes and why regulars, efficiency and loyalty decide who survives.
