16.09.1995 @L-Klub, Pardubice // PAUL VAN DYK & THE ACIDIZER \\ 90's Techno Acid Progressive House

This is a 60 min. tape with the last (?) 30 minutes of Paul's set on side A and the first (!) 30 minutes of Acidizer's on side B. There must be many more tapes/parts of this night somewhere! Who has them? No copyright infringement is intended! This is to preserve and support nearly forgotten music and artists. 40 minutes more (I think, he only played 90 minutes in total) of Paul van Dyk's set can be found here:    • Paul Van Dyk - Live at Life Club Pardubice...   As you will recognise, on my tape is one additional track of Paul's set at the end. There are some parts where all of a sudden the volume is going up or down. I can't say whether it was the fault of a DJ or the person that recorded this tape. Unfortunately not the best sounding tape, but still better than others'. This must have been the first or second time of Paul van Dyk and The Acidizer playing „together“ at the L-Klub (thanks to C. Klug and A. Bleha!). The Acidizer's start/build up of the set was probably one of the most strangest one for the time of the night, but still it worked, as the people were open minded and hungry enough for various new music to accept a short stylistic bbbreak ;) I don't like the assembling too much (though single tracks still are great), but as it's a relict of those times... Unfortunately nobody ever supplied the rest of the recordings (although they usually recorded the whole night), so you probably won't believe that the rest of the set (which must have been 2 hours or more) was a lot more energetic. Don't forget: Those were the times of pure vinyl mixing, without „cue points“, „sync buttons“ or concrete bollards around christmas markets and block parties and without a lot of other crap we have to deal with now... Respect to all original producers, djs, labels, mcs and dancers from those days (and nights)! Old school forever.
