Über das Bahnhofsviertel: Das Bahnhofsviertel gehört zu den dichtesten und vielfältigsten Stadtteilen Deutschlands. Es entstand Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts rund um den damals neuen Hauptbahnhof. Heute ist es bekannt für seine Mischung aus Altbauarchitektur, internationalen Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Hotels, kleinen Geschäften und einem sehr lebendigen Straßenbild. Gleichzeitig ist das Viertel geprägt von sozialen Herausforderungen: Drogenszene, Prostitution und ein rauer Alltag gehören ebenso dazu wie Kunst, Kultur und neue Gastronomie. In den letzten Jahren hat sich das Bahnhofsviertel stark gewandelt – es ist ein Ort, an dem Gegensätze direkt nebeneinander existieren.
