Excuse Me ~ Christian

Excuse Me is an English Country Dance which first appeared in Playford's Dancing Master of 1698. It was interpreted by Graham Christian in 2001. Found in "The Playford Assembly". It is a proper duple minor dance. The music was published with the dance, and it was synthesized using Colin Hume's software. The animation plays at 109 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the figures more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color will change each time through the minor set. https://www.upadouble.info/ For information on linking to this animation see: https://upadouble.info/about.php#linking
