Supercells of the Great Plains | Cinematic Storm Timelapse Film | 4k

A cinematic journey across the vast landscapes of the Great Plains of the United States and the Canadian Prairies, Supercells of the Great Plains captures five remarkable supercell thunderstorms as they unfold beneath some of the world’s most dramatic skies. Shot primarily through timelapse cinematography, with carefully selected aerial sequences and authentic natural sound recorded on location, the film explores the structure, movement and atmosphere of these incredible storms in extraordinary detail. From the open plains of the United States to the remote landscapes of the Canadian Prairies, each storm reveals a different side of the atmosphere — vast structures, changing light, and moments where the scale of the landscape meets the power of nature. Each chapter follows a different supercell, telling its own story as the storms evolve across the horizon, building towards a finale that celebrates the beauty, power and scale of these extraordinary weather systems. After travelling from England to storm chase across the Great Plains, this film was captured over just 11 days.
