Introducing New MWHC President and CEO, Dr. Christopher Newman

Mary Washington Healthcare (MWHC) is proud to announce the appointment of Christopher Newman, MD, MBA as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Newman has served as MWHC’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer since 2019. In his time at MWHC, Dr. Newman’s leadership and vision have helped drive improvements in patient care, operations, and strategic initiatives. Before joining MWHC, Dr. Newman served as the Chief Medical Officer for Penn State Health St. Joseph Regional Health Network and led operations for Penn State Health’s Medical Group.
