Tadano AC 6.300-1 Pulls an RTO Out of a Printing Facility | 55,000 lb Lift

Our crew headed out to a printing facility to remove an RTO (regenerative thermal oxidizer) from the site. For this job we ran the Tadano AC 6.300-1 configured as a 250 ton crane with approximately 150,000 lbs of counterweight. The first pick was the smoke stack. The crew rigged it, lifted it off the top of the RTO, and set it off to the side so the client could retrieve it with a forklift later. With the stack out of the way, the crew rigged up onto the RTO itself. At 55,000 lbs, it was lifted, swung over, and set down on a lowboy trailer to be hauled out. Good planning, clean rigging, and a crew that worked well together from start to finish. Thanks to everyone on site for getting it done safely.
