Hello, welcome to this ambient vlog where we explore the home Jane Austen once lived in. Jane Austen was born 16 December 1775 in Hampshire, and lived in this cottage for most of her life. Throughout her life, she had written six books; Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. She passed away in Winchester on 18 July 1817 in Winchester due to an unknown illness. She is one of the most influential writers in history, and she remains second to Shakespeare.
