Our Switzerland journey begins in Day 11 Part 1 of our Europe Road Trip! 🇨🇭🏔️ After staying overnight in Belfort, France, we crossed into Switzerland and started exploring the beautiful Swiss landscapes by car. Our first stop was Schönausteg Bridge in Bern, where we saw the famous Aare River and locals enjoying a swim in the river. We also shared some interesting information about the Aare and why swimming in the river is such a unique part of summer life in Bern. From Bern, we continued towards Lake Thun and visited the area around Schloss Oberhofen am Thunersee. The views of the lake, mountains and surrounding landscapes were absolutely beautiful. 🏰🏔️ We then continued our scenic drive along Lake Thun, heading towards Interlaken. One of the highlights was the drive up to Aussichtspunkt Beatenberg, where we got incredible views over the Swiss Alps and Lake Thun.
