Memory takes us into the realities she encountered while engaging directly with women in mining-affected communities, gaining first-hand insight into their everyday lived experiences. From structural damage to homes caused by blasting, dust and environmental impacts, to the long distances women have to walk and the growing burdens placed on their daily lives, these are everyday realities for women living in these communities. Despite being among those most affected, little is being done to adequately address the challenges they face.
