Jascha Heifetz (1901-1987), accompanied by Emanuel Bay, performs Schubert's Ave Maria, in an arrangement by the German violinist August Wilhelmj (1845-1908). This recording was made on October 19, 1946 at RCA Victor Studios in Hollywood, California. I created this music video from the LP you see above, issued in 1971 on the RCA label, serial number LSC-3233.
