SCUM... What Was THAT!? | FPS Games Show Reaction

🔔 Sub to my main channel:    / @mrfeudal   🔔 Sub to my shorts channel:    / @feudalshorts   I watched the FPS Games Show excited to see what SCUM was going to bring to the table, especially when so many of the other games featured were showing new content, upcoming updates, release dates, new locations and genuine reasons for their communities to be excited. Then SCUM appeared... and I was left disappointed. Instead of using this opportunity to show us where SCUM is heading, what Gamepires is currently working on or what players can look forward to next, we were given another gameplay-focused trailer something we've seen several variations of already. Worse still, I feel the trailer presents SCUM far more like a Battle Royale or PvP shooter than the hardcore open-world survival game that made so many of us fall in love with it in the first place. I've played SCUM since 2018. I've watched this game evolve through Early Access, 1.0 and everything that has followed, and I genuinely want to see it succeed. That's exactly why I think conversations like this are worth having. In this video, I'm reacting to SCUM's appearance at the FPS Games Show and talking about where I believe the developers should be focusing their attention moving forward. Survival mechanics, meaningful PvE, the world itself, reasons to explore, end-game progression, abandoned or underused locations, the TEC1 story and giving long-term players meaningful reasons to continue surviving on the island. SCUM has systems and survival depth that very few games can match. That's what should separate it from every other shooter on the market. This isn't about hating on SCUM or Gamepires. It's about wanting a game I've supported for years to show people what actually makes it special. Let me know what YOU thought about SCUM's FPS Games Show appearance.
