Class 3A softball second-round playoff game between Albany and Lutcher will air on SportsNOLA.com Saturday as part of the website’s live high school sports coverage presented by First NBC Bank. The live stream will begin just prior to the 4 p.m. first pitch from Lutcher. Jason Duhe will call the play-by-play. Both teams continued their late-season hot streaks with first-round victories on Monday. No. 7 seed Lutcher (21-10) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 14-0 victory over Port Allen, while 10th-seeded Albany (21-8) won its seventh in a row, defeating Port Barre 8-2. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals next weekend in Sulphur.
