"Concert Piece" Op.3
in E-Major
for Flute and Orchestra

Pick up your flute and practice ;-) You can do it, stay motivated. Turn yourself into a better flutist, nobody else can do it for you. Happy practicing :-)
As far as I know legendary Joachim Andersen composed many pieces for flute accompanied by orchestra. Unfortunately most of his original arrangements are lost, only a few have been re-arranged by other composers from the piano reduction.
This one here is one of his original arrangements. As you'll hear there´s a lot going on especially in the woodwinds. Compared to this the piano reduction sounds pretty poor.
Full score created from parts available on IMSLP
The audio track you're hearing is neither the output of Dorico (Notation software) nor from Dorico with expression maps by VSL. It is a result of almost endless adding and fine-tuning hundreds of "keyswitches" manually in my DAW (Logic Pro) during 4-5 months (including full score creation, mixing etc) !
Created by Christian Meyberg, Munich/Germany - released April 2025
