thumbnail by nexiph0: MANUAL FRAME WINDOW COUNTER This was my hardest and most fun frame window counter yet! The level is hard but has amazing visuals and the gameplay is pretty fun, definitely one of the best upcoming top levels yet... NAN INSPIRED!!!! Precision needed to beat the level from 0 in 24 hours (Including nerves, fatigue...): 378.03 σ/s Frame windows: 0-1: 6 2: 18 3: 29 4: 17 5-6: 57 7-8: 59 9-12: 102 13-16: 115 Made by SNG Team! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Frame Window Counter: Instead of just using the usual 60Hz frame-perfect terminology, the counter looks at input windows from 1–10 frames at 240Hz, which is the highest refresh rate GD natively supports. The numbers shown on screen represent the actual timing window for each input, including both clicks and releases, based on how the game handles inputs internally. The main reason for making this is that calling something a "frame perfect" doesn't always tell the full story. At lower refresh rates, different timings can get rounded into the same frame, even though they can have noticeably different levels of precision. 240Hz lets us look at these timings much more closely. σ/s - Precision Rate I also made a metric called σ/s (sigma per second) to turn all of this timing data into a number that can be used to compare levels. Basically: Higher σ/s = harder / more precise timings Lower σ/s = easier / more forgiving timings The value is based on standard deviation and the frame-window data, converted into milliseconds. The idea is to estimate the amount of input precision needed to beat a level from 0 within 24 hours. Hopefully this gives a better idea of how precise some of these inputs really are instead of just calling everything a frame perfect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The upcoming Top 1 SINGULARITY is a massive Geometry Dash 2.2 Extreme Demon megacollab hosted by TheLeftyKidd. Designed to be harder than current list-toppers like GRIEF, the project spans roughly 5 minutes and is currently in progress. Level Overview • Host & Co-Hosts: Hosted by TheLeftyKidd, alongside co-hosts nexiph0, EzSaturn, and rasvaninxGD. • Creators: Features gameplay parts from Joshuaxd123, nexiph0, TheLeftyKidd, CevoynGd, hurac_90, Spyritz, Marcel1233_4, The_CSD, and xarnz. • Verifier: ItzDovi. • Song: ΔDΔM's Søng by ΔXIUS LIИK. • Status & ID: Currently an unverified, private-copy project with a completed final layout. Gameplay & Structure • Length & Endurance: Clocking in at around 5 minutes long, the level tests extreme endurance alongside Top 1 mechanical difficulty. • Mechanics: Built in Geometry Dash 2.2, the layout heavily utilizes rapid gamemode transitions, tight wave corridors, complex ship control, and disorienting gravity/camera shifts to match its theme of a "fractured mind" and space-time collapse. • Showcases: Full layout showcases are available on YouTube from creators like AvraeGD and zainyk7 _________________________________________________________________________________ Timestamps: 0:00 - 0:09 - Information 0:09 - 5:12 - Frame Window Counter
