Zach and I took our first recumbent trike ride since The Fall Standard Time returned early Sunday morning. We rode on the NorthWest River Trail from tge Riverfront Park Access to Koser Park Access, Bainbridge, Pa.
We had fantastic weather and the trail was well used by both cyclists and hikers.
The air temperature started out at 64° and rose to gorgeous 75° by the time we returned home.
We saw a lot of squirrels and even a large doe on the trail during our ride. This beautiful weather certainly makes the wildlife active.
It's suppose to rain tomorrow and Friday. It will be our first measurable rainfall in over 18 days.
This past weekend through Monday, the Enola Low Grade Trail from the Turkey Hill Trailhead parking lot to the Safe Harbor Trestle (ManorTownship "Moonlight Ride" location) was closed due to a brush fire along the river bank and above the Trail. Out of safety and caution, the fire department closed the trail because debris was falling off the cliffs and onto the trail.
After our recumbent trike ride today, Zach and I headed over to McCleary's Pub in Marietta, Pa. for lunch. There was a large lunch crowd gathered there today. Our waitress was Mikayla. All the serving staff does a wonderful job!
