Qur’an Recitation with Tajweed | Surah Al-Fatihah & Surah Al-Baqarah
In this video, I have recited Surah Al-Fatihah and the first Ruku of Surah Al-Baqarah in the style of Hadr (fast-paced Qur’an recitation), while carefully applying the important rules of Tajweed that have been studied and practiced.
I have also recited the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, with special attention to the correct pronunciation, Makharij, and application of Tajweed rules.
The main purpose of this recitation is to demonstrate the practical application of the Tajweed rules while reciting the Holy Qur’an. The students can listen carefully and observe how the rules are applied during continuous recitation rather than studying them only theoretically.
During the recitation, important Tajweed rules such as:
• Noon Saakin and Tanween
• Izhaar
• Idghaam
• Iqlaab
• Ikhfaa
• Meem Saakin
• Madd
• Qalqalah
• Rules of Raa
• Rules of Laam
• Makharij-ul-Huroof
• And other essential Tajweed rules
are applied according to their respective places and conditions.
This video is especially useful for students who are learning Qur’an reading and Tajweed, because it provides an opportunity to listen to the rules being applied naturally during recitation.
