Iroquois Class: The Former Anti-Submarine Warfare Destroyers of the Canadian Navy

Launched in the 1970s, the Iroquois class, was a class of four helicopter-guided missile destroyers of the Royal Canadian Navy. They were originally designed for anti-submarine warfare with the support of two CH-124 Sea King helicopters and other weapons. After 1990 they were refitted for air defense with Standard SM-2MR Block IIIA missiles.
